This article covers the Marketplace Pulse section of your Carrier Admin Dashboard. Marketplace Pulse users are typically carrier admins, program managers, and analytics teams who want visibility into how your plans perform on the HealthSherpa Marketplace.

What the Marketplace section shows
The HealthSherpa Marketplace (HSMP) is the multi-carrier shopping site at healthsherpa.com, where your plans are listed alongside competitors. The Marketplace section gives you visibility into your competitive position there, including enrollment share relative to other carriers down to the county service area. It includes two tabs: Pulse and Performance.
Pulse
The Pulse tab shows your enrollment share relative to other carriers in the Marketplace, with views for Market Share, Total Enrollments, and Enrollment Details. Data is available down to the county service area level.
You can set a custom date range, filter by state or county, and switch your view between day, week, and month. Reports are downloadable directly from the tab, so your analytics team can work with the underlying data.
Pulse counts an enrollment when a consumer selects a plan on the Marketplace. This means Pulse figures may differ from your internal effectuated membership counts, which account for payment and downstream processing. |
Performance
The Performance tab provides a visual report of your key performance indicators on the Marketplace, with trend data for enrollment volume and market share. Use it to spot momentum shifts and evaluate how your strategy is landing over time.
Who can access the Marketplace section
Access depends on your carrier user role. White Label Admins have full dashboard access, including the Marketplace section. The Insight role provides a data-only view with export access for Marketplace Pulse, which is a good fit for analytics team members who do not need to manage agents or applications.
To add users or change roles, White Label Admins can manage assignments under General Settings, or contact your HealthSherpa Account Manager.
